The Halloween season is the perfect time for a blood drive. Mississippians are encouraged to come out and celebrate by donating the treat that keeps on giving. Blood donation has health benefits for the recipient and the donor.

Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) is holding a three-day Halloween Blood Drive on October 27-29, 2021, at its Main Center in Flowood and at its Oxford and Cleveland locations. Always a popular event, the Halloween Blood Drive continues to be the largest blood drive organized by Mississippi Blood Services.

As a token of community appreciation, donors will receive a festive and commemorative t-shirt designed by the nationally-recognized cartoonist and local celebrity editor/artist, Marshall Ramsey (while supplies last). The first 500 donors will be given a color-changing stadium cup featuring the same artwork.
