IT Synergistics recently held an on-site meeting with its Software Development Group (SDG). Over a dozen attendees from member community blood centers participated in this two-day on-site workshop hosted by owner/member Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) at its headquarters in Davenport, IA. Attendees (pictured below) took a guided tour of the host location (which included donor center and processing facilities) and participated in group discussions focused on areas such as improving the validation process, hosting solutions for the blood establishment computer system (BECS) environment, and suggesting future enhancements to incorporate into the software.

The Software Development Group will meet in person again next year, at a time and place to be determined.
